24 weeks

Today is the beginning of my 24th week of pregnancy.  The baby is growing and so is the belly.  Up to this point, the pregnancy has been great.  There was no morning sickness in the first trimester, only a little bit of nausea if I didn't eat, but as long as I kept the food coming, I was a-ok.  The second trimester has been pretty uneventful too, which we're very thankful for.  We've had two ultrasounds and everything looks good.  The doctors think our little munchkin is going to be a girl, but they couldn't say 100%.  Apparently she's a little camera shy and had her legs tightly crossed and even had a hand blocking the view part of the time.  They did say they thought they saw "girl parts" though.  The picture below is from our 12 week ultrasound.  It's the best picture of her that we've received. I've been able to feel her moving since about 19 weeks.  It's such an amazingly strange feeling.  I'm looking forward to Robbie getting to feel her move around a bunch too.   We've still got to do the nursery, pick out a name, attend a few classes and get things ready around the house for our July arrival.  So exciting. So that's the update on where we stand.  We'll (I'll) try to do a better job of keeping this updated in the future so you can all enjoy the last three months of the pregnancy with us.
