Thursday

Margot got a cold the week before Christmas and ever since she's had a hard time staying asleep at night.  Well, let me clarify, she has a hard time staying asleep in her OWN bed.  She's been going to sleep between 7-7:30 and then will wake up around 10 and if we're lucky, I can get her back to sleep quickly and she'll sleep for a couple more hours before waking up and then we'll bring her in our room, because frankly, I'm usually half asleep and don't want to deal with going back and forth if she wakes up again.  If we aren't lucky, and we can't get her back to sleep right away, I'll just take her into our bed at that point and then I usually have to stay in there with her for her to go back to sleep.  Once she's in our bed, she's out for the rest of the night, which is good.  So what's my reason for sharing this?  Today I took her to the park in hopes that the fresh air and exercise would wear her out so tonight she'll stay asleep all night.  Let's hope it works!  Here are a couple of pictures from our day.  She loves picking up rocks and occasionally things she shouldn't, like goose poop!  Shh, don't tell her Dad.
